Many Red Maple K9 Gear products are made to order. Production times, product availability, and shipment timing may vary. Any stated production or shipping estimate is an estimate, not a guaranteed delivery date.

We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse orders, cancel orders, or discontinue products at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud, unauthorized resale, pricing errors, or misuse of the website.

Orders and payment

By placing an order, you offer to purchase the selected product or products under these Terms. An order confirmation does not mean that we have accepted your order; acceptance occurs when we process and ship the order.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase, shipping, billing, and contact information. You authorize us and our payment processors to charge your selected payment method for the total shown at checkout, including applicable taxes, shipping charges, and other disclosed fees.

If we cancel an order after payment has been captured, we will issue a refund to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed or required by law.

Made-to-order and custom items

Many of our products are made to order. Standard, non-personalized made-to-order items may be eligible for return in accordance with our Return & Refund Policy, provided they are unused and meet all stated return conditions.

Personalized, engraved, custom-sized, custom-configured, or otherwise customized items are final sale and cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged, or refunded once production has begun, except where an item is damaged, defective, incorrect, or where required by law.

Customers are responsible for reviewing all order details, including product selection, size, color, hardware choice, engraving, personalization, and shipping address, before submitting an order.

Sizing, fit, and product use

Customers are responsible for measuring their dog and selecting the appropriate product, size, hardware, and configuration. We provide sizing guidance as a helpful resource, but it is not a guarantee of fit or suitability for every dog or situation.

Before each use, inspect all gear for signs of wear, damage, deformation, corrosion, loose hardware, compromised stitching or rivets, fraying, or other conditions that could affect performance. Do not use damaged, altered, or worn gear.

Use Red Maple K9 Gear products only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any product instructions or safety guidance we provide. Dog equipment is not a substitute for responsible supervision, proper training, safe handling, veterinary advice, or professional training advice.

No collar, leash, snap, buckle, or other piece of dog equipment can guarantee that a dog will not escape, pull free, become injured, cause injury, or behave unpredictably. Never leave a dog unattended while wearing equipment when doing so could create an entanglement, choking, injury, or other safety hazard.

Assumption of risk and limitation of liability

Dogs and outdoor activities involve inherent risks. By purchasing or using our products, you acknowledge and accept responsibility for selecting, fitting, inspecting, and using the product appropriately for your dog and circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Maple K9 Gear and its owners, employees, contractors, suppliers, and affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity; injury to persons or animals; property damage; escape or loss of a dog; or claims arising from product misuse, improper fit, normal wear, alteration, failure to inspect equipment, or use outside the product’s intended purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a product or order will not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

Some states do not allow certain limitations or exclusions of liability. In those locations, the above limitations apply only to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Returns, refunds, and cancellations

Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged items, defective items, incorrect items, and cancellations are governed by our Return & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Please review that policy before placing an order. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Return & Refund Policy concerning a return, refund, or cancellation, the Return & Refund Policy controls.

Shipping and delivery

Shipping estimates and delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, supply interruptions, incorrect or incomplete shipping information, customs processing, events beyond our reasonable control, or other circumstances outside our control.

If we cannot ship an order within the time stated at checkout or otherwise promised, we will follow applicable law and contact the customer regarding available options, including a revised shipping date or cancellation/refund where appropriate.
